DIY is back with 30 partner schools

DIY adds 10 new schools to the program, for a total of 30 partner schools in 2021. We have started teacher trainings and will be beginning orientation with Senior 1 and 2 classes in May. Students and teachers are excited to embark on the DIY journey.

We started Komo Week in 2020 to celebrate the launch of our new offices in Kusaatu village. The schedule was focused on community service activities, such as providing health education, clearing water trenches, collecting rubbish, constructing pit latrines, improving the community water well, and constructing a bus shelter. Komo Week was critical in laying the foundation for a long-lasting relationship between Komo and the people of Kusaatu Village, and thus we plan to make it an annual event.

Komo Learning Centres is a 501(c)3 non profit organization.
